Saint Anthony’s High School
Tony Trombino Annual Golf Classic XXXIII

Monday, May 1, 2023

United we play. United we win.

Message from
Brother David Anthony Migliorino, O.S.F., Principal,
Ronald Wright, Jr., Golf Classic Chairman, and Don Corrao, Director of Development

Saint Anthony’s Golf Classic will be forever changed this year as we honor the loving memory of Tony Trombino, Chairman Emeritus, who suddenly passed away just a few short months ago. Tony was largely responsible for taking the Golf Classic to new heights and worked tirelessly for Saint Anthony’s in the process.

We truly hope that you will be able to join us for the Saint Anthony’s High School Tony Trombino Annual Golf Classic honoring Kevin Dernbach. This year’s Golf Classic features three prestigious golf courses and post golf festivities at the Brookville Country Club. Please know that your financial support will make a difference in the lives of our 2,400 students.

Meet Our Honoree

Kevin Dernbach, Owner Maureen’s Kitchen

Kevin Dernbach has been a generous, long-time supporter, and member of the Saint Anthony’s Golf Classic Executive Committee. His primary motivation has been his life-long relationships with many Saint Anthony’s alumni, and his belief in the value of a Catholic and Franciscan education. He and his family own and manage one of Long Island ’s most successful family-owned businesses. His mother, Maureen instilled many core values in her children especially the importance of giving back and being engaged in the communities they serve.

The Saint Anthony’s Golf Classic is a great event to start off the golf season and recognize the school for the amazing institution it has become. I have been a part of the golf committee and proud supporter for the past fifteen years and truly enjoy catching up with alumni, past honorees, the administration, faculty, staff and new participants. I graduated Saint Anthony’s in 1986 and truly realize the incredible progress the school has made in all areas of academics and athletics. Your support of the Golf Classic helps make these opportunities possible for today’s Friars. I look forward to playing in the outing for many years to come, and especially with my two kids who will also be alumni.

This is one of the best and the first major golf outings of the year! Alumni, friends, and family all gather to support, in my humble opinion, the best Catholic High School on Long Island. It is always a special day where, not only is it a fun day of golf, but a great dinner and reception to follow!
